Presets allow saving the settings so that the user may have more Presets than they have Tabs as well as making it easy to switch between different sets of settings within a Tab or to apply settings to a newly created Tab. Simply clicking on such a link allows a player to apply the overview settings to their own overview.Ī Preset is a series of settings that can be quickly loaded to a Tab and can also be loaded as a ‘Bracket Preset’. The "Share" button in the upper right can be dragged into a chat channel, EVE Mail or Note and can be used to share the current overview settings with other players. Each Tab can be configured in the saved Tab Preset (shown below) and by selecting a saved Tab Preset within the "Bracket Preset" determines what symbols are being shown within the main view of the game when the respective overview tab is active. All Overview settings are saved account wide, and a change will affect all characters on the same account.Ī new Tab can be added by clicking the “+” icon in the Overview Window, or through the overview settings, and up to 8 Tabs can be configured to be shown within the overview for quick switching between different overview settings showing different kinds of items. Within the game settings it is also possible to set a shortcut to open the Overview Settings, but none is set by default. The overview settings can be opened through the Three-Dot menu of the overview window. Other is derived from e-peen measurements. The entries displayed in the overview while in space can be customized to show information about the surroundings that is of interest. Some of this is uninformed speculation.Risks vary greatly, and do not scale directly with rewards. Some are good solo activities (C6 Dreads), others (Incursion) need a solid group. Some (exploration, escalations, FW Missions) have high variability due to in-game variables.Values do not all scale over long time periods (respawn rates).Values do not all scale the same with multi-boxing.Values above are ISK-Equivalents, including salvage, loot, ore, LP, rewards, and bounties, but tend to downplay the value of salvage and loot vs blue loot & bounties.Your best ISK/Hr in most situations will be a side job or extra hours -> PLEX -> ISK.Scamming does not translate well to value/hr, and is excluded from this list.Manufacturing/Research/PI don’t translate well to value/hr, and are excluded from this list.Station trading offers some of the best ISK/Hr, but is entirely dependent upon your starting capital and knowledge of the game.Resource Wars (Removed 2018, previously ISK-negative).Multibox Praxis in Emerging Conduits (Removed May 2020).Rorqual LS mining & multibox (moon) mining (yeah, really).Rorqual NS mining & multibox (moon) mining.1B+ “Solo” (w/Support Ships) and Multiboxing.Level 5 Carrier Missions (blitzing, minimizing travel time).Faction Warfare Level 4 Blitzing (scales with Puller/Doers). ![]() Gila (Raven?) HS Mining (up to 15M for Orca) – ISK/m3 is a good measure.I certainly recommend you also review Ashy’s How 2 Krab series. I’ll update this as feedback comes in on errors or corrections. So… in increasing order of wealth per time increment, here’s a work in progress. If your measure of fun is ISK per hour, then you’ll want to find your own, better, more personalized answers than these, but this is perhaps still a standard against which to compare your own income-generating activities, and a place to look for next level possibilities. Of those who engage in in-game ISK earning, most choose mining and/or ratting. ![]() That’s a topic for another post, however, and almost all players engage in some sort of PvE activity to fund their fun, and many (I hope) derive significant Fun per Hour from the effort. The correct measure is Fun per Hour, which puts PLEXing for ISK (rather than ISKing for PLEX) at the very top of the Fun per Hour meter for most players. It is a terrible mistake to measure your success in EVE Online in wealth (ISK + the ISK value of “stuff”) per Hour. Isn’t at all clear what activities generate the most wealth per play interval, and how I can know if I’m doing something terribly wrong. Everyone should be familiar with Altrue’s EVE Online Careers Chart. ![]()
